Gujarat Titans will once again support the fight against cancer by wearing special lavender jerseys during their home match on May 12, 2026. The franchise has continued this initiative for the fourth straight year to spread awareness and support people affected by the disease.
The Titans will wear the lavender jerseys during their IPL 2026 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Through this campaign, the franchise wants to send a strong message about hope, strength, and the importance of timely care in the battle against cancer.
The initiative aims to bring together players, fans, and the wider cricket community. Gujarat Titans believe cricket can play an important role in spreading awareness and encouraging support for important social causes.
Gujarat Titans Continue Their Awareness Campaign
Colonel Arvinder Singh, Chief Operating Officer of Gujarat Titans, spoke about the initiative and its importance to the franchise.
“The Lavender Jersey Game has become an important part of our journey as a franchise over the last four years. As a team, we believe sport has the power to inspire communities and rally people behind causes that truly matter. This initiative is our way of extending support to those affected by cancer and reinforcing that no one stands alone in this fight.”
Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill also shared his thoughts on the campaign.
“As players, we understand the kind of impact cricket can have beyond the field. Wearing the lavender jersey is a small but meaningful gesture from all of us at Gujarat Titans to show our support for people and families affected by cancer. We hope the game helps bring people together and strengthens the spirit of standing by one another.”
Through the Lavender Jersey Game, Gujarat Titans continue to use cricket as a platform to create awareness and make a positive impact beyond the sport.
