The Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 3 wickets in a low-scoring clash at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Trailing a scanty 129, the game went into the final over, prior Dinesh Karthik hit Andre Russell for a six and a four to finish thematch. With this RCB also secured their first victory of the season.
