The former national-level junior cricketer Pradeepkumar Yadav has achieved another feat in his coaching career after successfully securing his certification from International Cricket Council Academy (ICCA) based in Dubai. With the new qualification under his belt, he has started ‘Just Cricket — a specialized academy’ in Kalamna.
Yadav, who has worked for The Hitavada and played state-level cricket, has tremendous experience in training junior cricketers. Despite being an engineer, he followed the passion for cricket and established himself as a coach in the last decade. He has worked under former India stumper Sulakshan Kulkarni at the latter’s academy in Nagpur. Earlier, he honed his skills as a coach under Prashant Bambal at Dr. Ambedkar College Sports Academy. Later, he joined NCA and made their Under-13 team champions a couple of years ago. He also brought laurels to the National Academy of Direct Taxes by making them two-time champions under his coaching.
At the Just Cricket facility, Yadav, who represented Nagpur University twice, is dealing with players’ special needs. The think tank of Just Cricket launched the center with the motive of providing junior cricketers with personalized coaching solutions.
They believe, “it becomes a bit tough for club owners to provide personal coaching to each player as they have to manage teams and plan as per tournaments. Despite the willingness, many parents do not get what they wish for their kids. To provide junior cricketers more coaching hours and develop their basics with maximum batting time, the Just Cricket unit has been launched under the guidance of IRS Abhishek Jain, who is posted as Deputy Commissioner of Income-tax in New Delhi. Jain is an enthusiast and played professional cricket.
