Tuesday’s Premier League game between Brentford and Manchester United is in suspicion after a number of Rangnick’s squad tested positive for Covid-19.
United triumphed 1-0 at Norwich on Saturday, with a late penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo. Everyone who travelled to Carrow Road had tested negative in the last round of routine tests.
Nevertheless, on Sunday morning, a small number of positive flow tests were found among the players and staff, who were all sent home. The rest of the team trained outdoors and the timetable was adjusted, taking in individual and non-contact sessions.
It is realized the Premier League has been notified of the results by Red Devils and it is unclear if Tuesday night’s match at Brentford will be proceeded.
