The full schedule of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has been officially released. The tournament will be played in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5. The announcement came after the Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in Nepal confirmed the final teams.
Hosts England will be joined by Bangladesh, Ireland, the Netherlands and Scotland from the qualifiers. The remaining teams are Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the West Indies. It will be a historic edition as European teams make up one-third of the participants.
One of the biggest matches of the group stage will be England vs Scotland at Headingley on June 20. It will be the first time the two sides meet in a World Cup on English soil. Ireland will start their campaign against Scotland at Old Trafford on June 13 and will later face England on June 16.
Bangladesh enter the event after an unbeaten qualifier run. They will face strong teams including Australia and India. The Netherlands will make their first appearance in the tournament and will also play India and Australia in the group stage.
