ICC Reveals Match Officials for Super 8s of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, Rodney Tucker and Paul Reiffel to officiate NZ vs PAK

The ICC has confirmed the match officials for the Super Eights stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. The round begins with a big clash between New Zealand and Pakistan in Colombo on Saturday.

Rodney Tucker and Paul Reiffel will stand as on-field umpires in the opening Group 2 match. Allahudien Paleker will serve as the TV Umpire. Sam Nogajski will take the role of Fourth Umpire.

Tucker and Nogajski will again be on the field on February 28 when Sri Lanka play Pakistan in Kandy. Nogajski will also officiate England’s match against Pakistan at the same venue on February 24 alongside Nitin Menon.

Adrian Holdstock is also part of the Sri Lanka-based officials’ panel. He will stand with Ahsan Raza for England’s matches against the hosts in Kandy on February 22 and New Zealand five days later. Paleker and Asif Yaqoob will oversee Sri Lanka’s meeting with New Zealand in Colombo on February 25.

India’s matches and other key appointments

Group 1 begins with co-hosts India facing South Africa on February 22. Richard Kettleborough and Chris Gaffaney will be the on-field umpires. Alex Wharf will be TV Umpire and Chris Brown the Fourth Umpire.

Gaffaney and Wharf will also handle India’s final Super Eight match against the West Indies in Kolkata on March 1. Wharf and Kettleborough will officiate India’s clash with Zimbabwe on February 26.

Zimbabwe enter the Super Eights unbeaten. Their match with the West Indies in Mumbai on February 23 will be handled by Richard Illingworth and Jayaraman Madanagopal.

Shahid Saikat and Kumar Dharmasena will officiate the West Indies vs South Africa game on February 26. Dharmasena and Illingworth will then oversee South Africa vs Zimbabwe on March 1.

Ranjan Madugalle, Andrew Pycroft, Richie Richardson and Javagal Srinath will share the match referee duties during the stage.
