Zlatan Ibrahimovic somehow got away getting sent-off in the course of World Cup qualifier against Spain despite a cruel shoulder push on full-back Cesar Azpilicueta.

Zlatan came on as a late substitute with the game at 0-0 and Sweden requiring a goal to trounce their hosts to automatic qualification.

However, Alvaro Morata netted in the 86th minute to direct Spain to Qatar while Sweden will have to go through play-offs to affix them.

The incident took place in the stoppage time, when a corner was swayed into the Spanish area. Ibra shattering into the back of the Spanish full-back, who instantly hit the floor in agony.

The Spanish players were quick to encircle the referee in an attempt to get Zlatan threw out. Spain, however, rejoiced as Sweden left empty handed.
