Women’s Footballer strikes Hat-Trick of own goals!

New Zealand National Women’s Football team player Meikayla Moore encountered one of the most humiliating and tough nights of her career during the game versus US women’s National team in the SheBelieves Cup organized at the Dignity Health Tennis Center in California.

Moore, who plays as a defender, put three goals into her own goal and all the supporters present in the ground were shocked. Moore’s ill-famed hat-trick in the first half put her team ultimately behind from which they never recovered, at last losing the match 5-0.

The torment started in the fifth minute when a cross from the left wing headed towards the six-yard box was diverted into the goal by Moore. The shot was somehow taken on the volley into the net.

Then one minute later, Moore stroked again, this time through a magnificent header placed flawlessly on the right of the keeper.

The US team, which was so far putting pressure on the defense line, went beyond as Moore side-footed a low cross from the right wing right into the goal.

Just when everyone thought that the day could not get more dreadful for the visitors, Ashley Hatch and Mallory Pugh scored one goal each in the second half to sink any chance for New Zealand to recover the damage.
