UAE seamer Mahika Gaur wrecked Nepal’s batting order with bowling figures of 5/2.
Openers Theertha Satish, who had the highest total in the match (4 off 4 balls) and Lavanya Keny (3 off 4 balls) then booked a 10-wicket victory, ending the trail at Bangi, Malaysia with 7 deliveries.
Before, Nepal triumphed the toss and opted to bat first however could not last long on the ground, 6 of their batters being removed without summing to the score.
Sneha Mahara and Maneesha Rana apended 3 and 2 runs respectively whilst Kiran Kumari Kunwar, Anu Kadayat and Ashma Pulami Magar assisted a run each to the scoreboard.
Indhuja Nandakumar of UAE was marvellous as she grabbed 3 wickets in Nepal’s downfall. Samaira Dharnidharka grabbed 1 wicket with her only bowl of the game.
Nepal had triumphed their first match versus Qatar by 79 runs, having put 109 more runs on the scoreboard than they did against UAE.
The Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup qualifier is being played between Nepal, UAE, Thailand, Bhutan and Qatar with the winner having the convenience to book a spot in the maiden tournament in South Africa in Early 2023.
