Suyash Narayan Jadhav’s outstanding performance in 21st National Para Swimming Championship

Under the joint partnership of Paralympic Committee of India and Narayan Seva Sansthan, the ‘21st National Para Swimming Championship’ has been conducted from 25th to 27th of March at the Swimming Pool Complex, Maharana Pratap Khelgaon, Udaipur.

Para Olympian Padma Bhushan – Devendra Jhajharia and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Awardee – Krishna Nagar initiated the event.

Suyash Narayan Jadhav is District Sports Officer in Pune.

Notably, he has been interested in swimming since his childhood. However, back in 2004, he was struck by short circuit during his brother’s wedding and he had to sacrifice both of his hands.

Suyash has achieved 5 golds along with 21 medals at International level. Whereas, counting National and State level he has earned 125 medals.
