PSG players ‘believe Zinedine Zidane will restore Mauricio Pochettino’ as Manchester United run after boss to replace Solskjaer

Paris Saint-Germain force reportedly believe Zinedine Zidane’s entrance is ‘imminent’ – making it smooth for Mauricio Pochettino to join Red Devils.

Manchester United dismissed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sunday after a disastrous trounce and have named Michael Carrick as temporary manager.

United had planned to wait till the summer to recruit a permanent descendant, however those plans could be augmented with news that the PSG head coach is willing to leave France for Old Trafford now.

Zidane appeared as a leading contestant for the job but has already enlightened United that he has no interest in taking over.

He only has an aim on managing the French national team or PSG.

The Manchester Evening News had earlier announced that the Argentine is ready to vacate PSG and join United now.

That would leave Zidane free to take the hot spot at Parc des Princes.

Pochettino is believed to be dispirited with life at PSG both at the club and away from it.

His duty is specifically as first-team coach with sporting director Leonardo looking after everything else, including transfers.

He is also still living in a hotel, despite being in the duty since January, with his family persisting in London.
