Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi is in discord to replace Roman Abrahmovic as Chelsea owner.

Chelsea’s current owner is a Russian billionaire was pressurized into making the decision due to conflict between Russia’s and Ukraine.

Previously this week, in order to disperse the situation, Abramovic handed over the ‘stewardship and care’ of the club. Nevertheless, this decision was seen meaningless.

With augmenting pressure, Abramovic has now been compelled to sell Chelsea and Javed Afridi remains interested in taking over the command.

The source stated, “Afridi’s team held a meeting in afternoon with a sports and legal agency in the UK. There’s a bunch of investors who are interested in Chelsea Football Club.”

“They believe it’s the right time and opportunity to invest in football. And someone from Asia should come and invest. They are in negotiation with them right now.”

Javed Afridi accompanied by his investors are said to be confronted by Swiss billionaire Hansjoerg Wyss who has also exhibited his target to become Roman’s successor.

Chelsea Football Club is a symbol of modern modification; the club depended on money from investors and owners to offset the toehold of football giants such as Manchester United and Liverpool.

Following Roman’s entrance in 2003, Chelsea have triumphed 5 Premier League titles, 5 FA Cups, and 2 Champions League titles.
