Brazilian football superstar Pele came back to hospital as he carry on with to get treatment for cancer, Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein hospital stated in a medical note.
The doctors stated, using Pele’s full name, Edson Arantes do Nascimento’s clinical condition is fine and stable, and he is likely to be released in the next few days.
Pele had a tumour eradicated from his colon in September 2021 and has since been visiting the hospital for treatment on a regular basis.
Overall considered one of the greatest footballers of all time, the former Santos, New York Cosmos and Brazil player has sustained a series of health issues in recent years, counting hip surgery that left him with reoccurring pain and trouble walking single-handedly.
In February, Pele was admitted to hospital for a round of chemotherapy when a urinary infection was spotted, keeping him in longer than was planned.
