Outstanding Youngsters in IPL 2022

As the prestigious tourney is coming to an end, with Final being played between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans on 29th of May 2022 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

 

It is hard to forget about the youngsters who performed superbly in this edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).

It is reckon that very year the IPL produces some extraordinary talent in the field of cricket.

Sometimes it is the senior virtuosos whilst at other times an unsung name catches the eye.

The epic players like Virat Kohli, David Warner, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, to name a few, continue to do magnificent, much like what is expected from them.

But one of the things that the IPL always does, is put the limelight on talented youngsters, who otherwise may have found it cumbersome to attract the cricket world’s attention.

 

Have a look at the young talent that caught the eyes

 

UMRAN MALIK

This exciting 22-year-old Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer has been the biggest achievement for Indian cricket. Producing superb pace in the region of 150kph, this ‘speed gun’ from Jammu and Kashmir has been a nightmare for plethora of batsmen.

 

TILAK VARMA

This 19-year-old batsman have been a silver lining in a dark cloud for Mumbai Indians. It is delighted to watch him hit bowlers through the line and executes with ease. He has both timing and power, it was a sharp investment for the future.

 

AYUSH BADONI

The 22-year-old batsman have produced splendid performances for the India U-19 team a few years back, ignored by franchises in 3 previous IPL auctions. Eventually, he was picked up by Lucknow Super Giants. He was the first of the ‘unknowns’ to ignite this IPL. Walking in on debut with his team he showed both nerves of steel and 360-degree shot-making skills.

 

JITESH SHARMA

The 28-year-old batsman is an imperative part of Punjab Kings batting line-up with his fierce batting style. He can hit the ball conventionally, and unusually as well.

 

SHAHBAZ AHMED

The 27-year-old allrounder has been fruitful at No. 6 for RCB. It is joyful to watch him smash bowlers through the line and executes with ease. He holds the talent of changing the complexion of the game. Shahbaz has consistently contributed with his immaculate hitting along with producing superb spins.
