After recovering from injury, India’s pride and World Championships silver medalist javelin thrower Neeraj finally publicized his confirmation on social media “Twitter” that he will participate at the Lausanne Diamond League.
In Birmingham after missing the Commonwealth Games due to injury this will be Neeraj’s first event since the world championship silver .
“Feeling strong and ready for Friday. Thanks for the support, everyone. See you in Lausanne! @athletissima,” posted Chopra on Twitter.
On September 6 and 7, the Lausanne stopover of the Diamond League will decide the top-six finalists for the big final to be held in Zurich.
After his second place finish at the Stockholm Diamond League, Chopra is presently 4th on the Diamond League standings.
