Dhoni then said that he has probably come to give me Farewell. After defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by 49 runs, Dhoni said about the fans who came to support him at Eden Garden,
“I would just like to say thank you for the support, they came in large numbers…Most of these guys will be in KKR jersey next time…they are trying to bid me farewell, so thank you very much everyone.”
This statement of Dhoni has increased the speculation about his retirement from IPL. After defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by 49 runs, Dhoni said that his bowlers did a good job and kept the opposition team under constant pressure.
