As per a report, Kylian Mbappe has decided to lengthen his stay at PSG.
The France striker, whose current agreement runs out on 30th of June, had been widely predicted to join Real Madrid.
However, according to a report, new agreement which is likely to tie him to the French champions till 2025, had not been signed yet.
Mbappe, 23, one of the great talents who burst onto the scene as a teenager and assisted France triumph the World Cup in 2018, was set to depart on a free transfer when his agreement ran out at the end of the season.
PSG signed Mbappe from AS Monaco in 2017 in a contract reported to be about €180 million, making him the world’s second-most costiliest signing followed by Neymar, who united with PSG from Barcelona for €222 million.
PSG had been strengthened last year with the signing of Lionel Messi from Barcelona to add potency to a star-studded squad.
However, apart from recovering the Ligue 1 title, the French club flunked to triumph any other trophies.
Mbappe, nevertheless, flourished individually, scoring 36 goals and providing 26 assists for PSG in all tournaments this season.
