Now, all eyes are on the victory parade a celebration that fans eagerly await. According to a report from IANS, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia shared an update on the plans. He revealed that the parade will be organised after the ICC meeting concludes.

The ICC meeting is scheduled to take place from November 4 to 7 in Dubai, and Saikia has already departed to attend it. Speaking to IANS from Mumbai airport, he explained that the board’s focus is currently on representing India at the ICC discussions.

“Nothing like a victory parade is planned as of now. I’m leaving for Dubai to attend the ICC meeting. Several officials are heading there as well, so once we return, we will plan accordingly,” Saikia was quoted as saying to IANS while speaking from Mumbai airport.

He further stated that bringing the Asia Cup trophy back with full honour remains the board’s top priority for now. Once the ICC meetings are over, BCCI will finalise the schedule for the parade.
