Chennai Super Kings play the league opener facing Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2022 at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. The team has started preparing in Surat with Dhoni joining the squad there. The four-time IPL winners are anticipating to win their fifth title in the new edition.

In the meantime, the franchise has acquired Ireland left-arm pacer Josh Little as a net bowler for the season. He made his T20I debut for Ireland in 2016 whilst his ODI debut for the side in 2019. Until now he has played 19 ODIs and 34 T20Is fetching 61 wickets till now in his international career.

Cricket Irelan’s official Twitter handle has shared the news of Little uniting Chennai Super Kings prior IPL 2022. He can be joined to the team in case of any exigency or as an injury replacement as well.

“Congrats to Josh Little who is heading off on a development opportunity with the Chennai Super Kings in the early stages of the upcoming IPL. The experience as a net bowler for CSK should be fantastic,” cited Cricket Ireland whilst releasing the news.

Josh Little has the capability to swing the ball and also come back and bowl well in the ending overs. His spell with CSK can be a great learning graph for him ahead of the T20 World Cup in Australia coming this year.
