IPL 2022: MI suffer fourth consecutive defeat

Anuj Rawat stroked his maiden IPL fifty as he shared a magnificent partnership with Virat Kohli, keeping Royal Challengers Bangalore on track in the 152-trail.

The duo stabilized RCB’s innings following skipper Faf du Plessis was removed on just 16, and in the end assisted the team book a comfortable seven-wicket victory. Rawat scored 66 whilst Kohli notched up 48.

Before, Suryakumar Yadav’s undefeated 68 boosted Mumbai Indians to 151/6 after Mumbai Indians suffered a dramatic batting downfall.

RCB put up a strong dhow with the ball to lower the opposition to 63 for five.

Mumbai then sank to 79/6 following losing 6 wickets for just 29 runs, and Wanindu Hasaranga struck twice and so did Harshal Patel.

Suryakumar, nevertheless, soared a valiant fifty to cruise his side to a battling total. He scored 68* off 37 whilst Jaydev Unadkat soared 13 from 14 balls.

Mumbai made two modifications, bringing in Unadkat in place of Tymal Mills and Ramandeep Singh replacing Daniel Sams, whilst introduced Glenn Maxwell for Sherfane Rutherford.
