IPL 2022: CSK suffer fourth consecutive defeat

By Piyush

Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma set up an 89-run opening which gave SunRisers Hyderabad the perfect condition to go ahead to an eight-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings.

Abhishek scored 75 off 50 balls and Rahul Tripathi then banged 39 off 15 to get SRH to the target with more than 2 overs to remain.

The margin of win will prove to be a precious boost to SRH’s net run rate whilst the troubled CSK are now second to bottom on the points table with 4 losses from 4 matches.

Before, Moeen Ali’s half century and a late augment from Ravindra Jadeja assisted the team reach 154/7 in their 20 overs.

SRH sailed to an eight-wicket victory over CSK. This was SRH’s 1st win of the season whilst CSK are now winless following 4 games.
