ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2026 fixtures confirmed for Nepal

The full schedule of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2026 has been officially announced. The tournament will be played in Nepal from January 18 to February 1. Ten teams will compete for four spots in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The main event will be held in England and Wales in June and July.

Warm-up matches will be played on January 14 and January 16. These games will take place at three venues. They are Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground and Lower Mulpani Cricket Ground.

ICC announces ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2026

Once the group stage begins on January 18, competitive matches will be hosted only at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground and Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground. The tournament will open with four matches on January 18. Nepal will face Thailand in the morning game. At the same time, Bangladesh will play against USA.

In the afternoon, Zimbabwe will take on the Netherlands. Ireland will face Papua New Guinea. Scotland and Namibia will play their first matches on January 20. Four matches will be played every other day during the group stage.

The group stage will end on January 26. The teams are divided into Group A and Group B. The top three teams from each group will qualify for the Super Six stage. Super Six to decide four World Cup spots

The Super Six matches will be played on January 28, January 30 and February 1. These matches will decide the four teams that qualify for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. All Super Six games will be played at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground and Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground.

Morning matches will start at 9am local time. Afternoon matches will start at 1pm local time. Nepal will play as QB2 if they reach the Super Six stage. The final Super Six matches on February 1 will decide the qualified teams. The Qualifier promises exciting cricket. Fans in Nepal will get to watch top women’s teams in action.
