In the Final of the Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026, played at PGDAV College Ground, New Delhi, a dominant all-round performance by Man of the Match Deepak Sharma (65 runs) and excellent batting by Anuj (49 runs) helped Delhi Team Red (203/6) defeat Delhi Team Green (88/9) by a massive 115 runs to lift the championship trophy.
Deepak Sharma led from the front with a blistering knock, while Anuj provided valuable support in amatch-winning partnership. Delhi Team Green bowlers struggled to contain the aggressive batting display.
In reply, Green failed to build any substantial partnerships and were restricted to 88/9 in their allotted 15 overs. Sunny starred with the ball, claiming 3 wickets, while Sandeep Angurala picked up 2 wickets.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Capt. Dipak Binyani, while Rajeev Sachdeva and DDCA Secretary Ashok Sharma (Mama) attended as Guests of Honour and felicitated the players and officials.
