CSK suffer 6th defeat as Punjab dominates

By Piyush

Shikhar Dhawan scored an undefeated 88 off 59 balls and cruised Punjab Kings to a score of 187/4 in their 20 overs.

Whilst PBKS grappled to score in the first 10 overs, Dhawan and Bhanuka Rajapaksa deviated in the last five following which Liam Livingstone gave them a pump in his short stay in the middle.

CSK then lost Robin Uthappa early and Mitchell Santner went after struggling to link anything.

Whilst Ruturaj Gaikwad has seemed good thus far, CSK have also been handed a calamity in the form of the removal of the star Shivam Dube.

Both PBKS and CSK have been dull in the first half of the league stage and are playing to reach in the race for the top four.
