Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway assisted Chennai Super Kings pile a huge 202/2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
In response, SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson supported the side off to a powerful start ahead of Mukesh Choudhary struck twice in the final powerplay over.
Sharma was removed for 39, whilst Rahul Tripathi was sent off for a golden duck.
Aiden Markram became the next man to be removed on 17 by Mitchell Santner.
Williamson hung around in the middle till the 15th over prior to getting out on 47.
Before, Gaikwad and Conway contributed 182 runs for the opening wicket following being invited to bat first.
Meanwhile, Gaikwad also completed his 1000 runs in IPL and smashed a half century off 33 balls, before being sent off by T Natarajan on 99.
His partner Conway also accomplished his half-century, which was his maiden in IPL, and came back undefeated on 85.
In the meantime, SRH have fielded the same playing XI, whilst CSK took a daring step and dropped Dwayne Bravo and Shivam Dube.
