As per reports, Barcelona are set to step up their tracking of Palmeiras kid Endrick as they plan to begin negotiations with the Brazilian outfit for the signing of the teenage sensation.

One of the most sought-after young prospects in the world of football, Endrick has been attracting the limelight with his performances for Palmeiras’ and Brazil’s youth teams.

Endrick, 15, forward attracted the show in the Copinha tourney, one of the most reputable youth football tournaments, as he banged 6 goals in 7 matches, helping Palmeiras win.

After that, the teenage virtuoso starred for the Brazil U17 side in the Montaigu Tourney, leading his team to silverware in the contest, as he netted 5 goals in 4 matches, counting one in the finals versus Argentina.

Endrick has grabbed interest from a host of top clubs across Europe, counting Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, and Manchester United among others.

Endrick has previously shown his appreciation for Barca, whilst also claiming that he admires Barca legend Rivaldo.

Endrick also visited Camp Nou and watched the Barca take on Napoli in the UEFA Europa League earlier this year. Barcelona are ready to step up their endeavours to secure the teenager’s signing.

According to the report, Barcelona plan to start talks with Palmeiras and reach an accord for the signing of Endrick once he turns 16 in July and signs a professional agreement with the Brazilian outfit.

Endrick would then stay at Palmeiras till he turns 18, at which point he can unite with Barcelona in the summer of 2024.

To that end, the Barca are planning to make an offer of a fixed sum plus a variable component based on Endrick’s progression.

It remains to be seen whether such a move sees the hope, however as things stand, Barca are preparing to start negotiating with Palmeiras for the wonderkid.
