Gareth Bale took to Instagram to counter to those who have criticised him for his physical condition on social media over the last few weeks.
There have been posts on Twitter by users and media outlets who contrasted recent pictures of Bale’s legs with others from the past, as they looked to pin point out that the Real Madrid forward has lost muscle mass.
Nevertheless, Bale shared another picture with an arrow pointing to his bulging quadriceps as he looks to come back from criticism.
His picture received over a million likes from fans, whilst current and former teammates such as Marcelo, Sergio Reguilon, Sergio Ramos and Lucas Vazquez commented on his post to showcase their support to him.
