AB de Villiers, the former captain of the South African team and known as Mr. 360 degree player in world cricket, has described Afghanistan’s veteran player Rashid Khan as the all-time great player of T20 format.
AB de Villiers has surprised all the cricket fans by his decision by not taking the name of Virat Kohli or Chris Gayle, because both the players have got to see great performance in this format.
Virat Kohli may not be performing in the Test format at the moment, which everyone expects, although he has seen a lot of great performance with the bat in the T20 format so far. While Kohli is on the first place in terms of scoring the most runs in the international format, he also holds the first place in the list of most runs in the IPL.
Meanwhile, when AB de Villiers was asked a question about the greatest T20 player of all time, he took the name of Afghanistan player Rashid Khan while answering it. De Villiers said that I would like to name Rashid Khan as the greatest T20 player of all time.
At the same time, he performs brilliantly with both the ball and the bat. He proves to be a match winning player for the team in both these departments. He is seen in great enthusiasm on the field and is constantly seen trying to put pressure on the players of the opposition team.
In the last season of (IPL), Rashid Khan was added by Gujarat Titans with his team for 15 crores. This decision of the franchise also proved to be completely correct when Rashid played an important role with ball and bat in making the team the winner.
Till now, Rashid Khan is in second place in terms of taking most wickets in T20 cricket history with 511 wickets in his name. Apart from this, Rashid Khan has also scored 1893 runs.
