After sitting in the IPL dugout for two years, Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar got a chance to make his Mumbai Indians debut against KKR at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. Arjun Tendulkar was associated with Mumbai Indians from 2021. But he did not get a chance to debut.
After his son’s debut, the master blaster took to social media and advised him to continue respecting the game and keep the passion alive. Sachin said in his post, “You have taken another step in the journey of cricket. As a father and those who love you know about your passion for cricket. I know you will continue to give the same respect to the game that you have been giving till now. If you respect the game, then the game will also love you and return your respect.”

Best wishes to you On the other hand, elder sister Sara Tendulkar posted on Arjun’s debut on Instagram and wrote that there cannot be a bigger day than this for a sister’s happiness.
Arjun Tendulkar did not get a chance to bat in this match. But he gave 17 runs in 2 overs while bowling. However, he could not succeed in taking wickets. Opening the bowling, the left-arm pacer conceded five runs in his first over. He made a loud appeal for LBW against Jagadishan, but it was turned down by the umpire, as it looked like the ball would go over the stumps. At the same time, he gave 12 runs in his second over.
Sachin-Arjun is the first father-son duo to play in IPL. Sachin also made his debut in the first season of IPL i.e. 2008 from Mumbai Indians. Now after 15 years, son Arjun has got a chance to make his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians.
