The LaLiga club declared, Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie has united with FC Barcelona on a free transfer following quitting AC Milan.
Barcelona stated Kessie has signed an agreement until June 2026 and his buy-out clause would be set at €500 million ($522.80 million).
Kessie, 25, left AC Milan at the end of his contract in June after assisting the Italian club triumph their first Serie A title in 11 years last season.
Kessie, who can chip-in in attack and defence, has 58 caps for Ivory Coast.
Barcelona came second in LaLiga last season, concluding behind rivals Real Madrid.
