Former leader Virat Kohli joined the RCB’s squad on Monday for preparations before the 2022 version of the IPL starting 26th of March.
With RCB fans seeking detail concerning Kohli’s, as other players had taken part in the preparatory camp, the RCB tweeted the awaited good news.
“King Kohli has arrived! That’s it. That’s the news,” cited the official social media handle of the franchise.
The franchise also tweeted some snaps of Kohli’s arrival. Video clips of his entrance at the team’s base were also flourishing on the social media sites.
Kohli has been linked with the Royal Challengers since the establishment of the league in 2008 and was their captain for 8 editions prior he quit captaincy at the beginning of this version.
Kohli is the all-time leading batsman in the IPL with 6283 runs from 207 games at an average of 37.39 and a strike rate of 129.54 with a highest score of 113.
