Delhi Capitals (DC) shared an emotional moment on social media after their narrow loss to Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2026. The match took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 8. DC lost the game by just one run in a thrilling finish.
David Miller was at the center of the drama. The South African batter looked completely dejected after the match. DC posted a video of him sitting quietly in the dressing room. He looked disappointed after failing to finish the game for his team.
Chasing a big target of 211 runs, DC got off to a strong start. KL Rahul played a brilliant knock of 92 runs from 52 balls. His innings kept DC in control for most of the chase. After his dismissal, Miller took responsibility in the final overs.

Miller then smashed a huge six over long-off. The equation came down to just two runs needed from two balls. DC were in a strong position to win the match.
However, things went wrong quickly. Miller did not take a single on the fifth ball. This decision cost DC a chance to force a Super Over. On the last ball, Miller mistimed his shot. The ball went to wicketkeeper Jos Buttler, who quickly ran out Kuldeep Yadav.
GT celebrated their first win of the season. Meanwhile, Miller was left heartbroken.
