The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will honour several top cricketers and contributors at the BCCI Naman Awards 2026. The ceremony will be held in New Delhi on Sunday.
The event celebrates the achievements of Indian players across international and domestic cricket. It also recognises legends who have made a long contribution to the game.
Former India captains Roger Binny and Rahul Dravid will receive the prestigious Col. C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. This is the highest honour given by the BCCI. It recognises exceptional service to Indian cricket.
Meanwhile, former India women’s captain Mithali Raj will receive the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women. She is being recognised for her huge contribution to women’s cricket in India.
Shubman Gill and Smriti Mandhana headline performance awards
Several players will also be rewarded for their performances during the 2024–25 cricket season.
India captain Shubman Gill will receive the Polly Umrigar Award. This will be the second time he has won the award.
India star Smriti Mandhana will win the Best International Cricketer (Women) award. It will be the fifth time in her career that she receives this honour.
In domestic cricket, Mumbai’s Ira Jadhav will receive the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophy. She impressed with her performances during the season.
India batter Shafali Verma will be honoured as the Best Woman Cricketer in Senior Domestic One-Day tournaments.
Young all-rounder Ayush Mhatre will receive the Lala Amarnath Award. Meanwhile, Vidarbha player Harsh Dubey will win the Best All-Rounder award in the Ranji Trophy.
The Mumbai Cricket Association will also be recognised for its excellent domestic season. The association won four trophies and finished runner-up in two tournaments.
One of the biggest moments of the night will be the honouring of five Indian teams that won major ICC trophies. These include the men’s team that won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
The women’s team that lifted the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will also be honoured. In addition, both the men’s and women’s teams that won the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup titles will be recognised during the ceremony.
