Sai Sudharsan Answers His Critics with a Solid Fifty
Sai Sudharsan too joined the party with a fine half-century. He reached the landmark with a crisp cover drive, blasting Khary Pierre to the boundary. This is his second fifty in Test cricket and his first at home. He got there in 87 deliveries.
There was plenty of focus on Sudharsan after his failure in the first Test in Ahmedabad. Questions were asked about his place in the side. But captain Shubman Gill and the team management backed the youngster from Tamil Nadu.
