Thomas Tuchel eyes on Real Madrid centre-back Eder Militao, as he anticipates to allure him to Chelsea next summer.
Militao has three-and-a-half years left on his agreement at Real Madrid, who are eager to open talks with him over an extension.
Nevertheless, Tuchel has made an appeal to Chelsea’s hierarchy to make a push to fetch Militao during next summer’s transfer window.
Plethora of Chelsea defenders are out of contact at the end of this season, counting Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen, so Tuchel is looking at the club’s medium- and long-term aspiration by lining up adequate replacements.
Militao has fascinated at Real Madrid this season, after the departures of Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos.
Real Madrid signed Militao from Porto in the summer of 2019 for £41 Million, but Militao is stated to be one of the club’s lowest earners with a salary of £2.5 Million annually.
Another back-up for Chelsea is Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, who came close to uniting the London side last summer.
