As the music faded, Mandhana raised her hand toward the camera. She flashed her engagement ring, giving fans the confirmation they had been waiting for.

Soon after the reel went viral, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the couple. He also revealed that the wedding is planned for November 23, although Mandhana and Muchhal have not officially announced the date.

“May Smriti and Palaash build a shared life rooted in trust, standing by each other always, embracing responsibilities with love and growing together through each other’s strengths and imperfections,” PM Modi wrote.
