Invited to bat, Punjab were off to a fierce start with Bairstow smashing a 21-ball half-century.
Hasaranga halted the run-scoring flow ahead of Livingstone supplied with fireworks towards the end.
Whilst Bairstow thrashed 4 boundaries and 7 sixes in his knock to begin the Punjab Kings innings on an blistering note, his peer Livingstone then smashed 5 fours and 4 maximums, at the back end to take the Kings over the 200-run mark.
In response, Bangalore managed just 155/9 in 20 overs, with Glenn Maxwell being the top-scorer with 35 runs.
Kagiso Rabada grabbed 3 wickets whilst Rishi Dhawan and Rahul Chahar took 2 wickets each. Arshdeep Singh and Harpreet Brar also fetched one wicket each.
