The sensational Harry Brook has been in impeccable form in recent months and has done wonders for his national side. The English youngster has unlocked yet another milestone as he became the fastest batsman to score 1000 runs in test cricket during the second innings of the third test match of the Ashes 2023.
Harry Brook registered this feat as the England cricket team were chasing down the target of 251 set by the Australian cricket team in the second innings. Harry’s quick innings of 75 runs in 93 deliveries lead England to their first win in the Ashes 2023 series. The youngster must have gotten immense confidence after being the cause of the victory for his national team.
Harry Brook took only 1058 deliveries to reach 1000 runs in test cricket, beating Colin deGrandhomme who previously held the record for scoring the fastest 1000 runs in test cricket as he took 1140 deliveries to set the record.

“It’s a lot more nerve-wracking when you’re sat up there than in the middle. I’m not one to blow up when I get in the changing room but I had a little blow-up today. I like getting us over the line and yeah, it was annoying that I didn’t today, but I’m happy we won,” said Harry Brook in a recent conversation with Sky Sports after England won the third test match against Australia.
“Everybody [in the dressing room] erupted. We only needed about 20 runs, and I had complete and utter faith in Woakesy and Woody. It was tense for a little while but when Woody hit that six, we kind of knew it was on,” he added.
