Andrew Tye unites with LSG as a replacement for injured Mark Wood.

Lucknow Super Giants have signed Andrew Tye in place of the injured England pacer Mark Wood for the IPL 2022 season. Wood suffered an elbow injury during England’s first Test versus West Indies earlier this month.

Tye has featured Australia in 32 T20Is and grabbed 47 wickets. He is a right-arm pacer, who has till now played 27 IPL games and has fetched 40 wickets, will join LSG for the INR 1 Crore.

LSG, who will be making their IPL debut in this edition will start their IPL 2022 campaign on 28th of March when they will face Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
