Delhi Capitals on Saturday revealed their new jersey for the 2022 version of the IPL.
As per a statement on franchise’s official website, the franchise called a select number of fans to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, which is the team’s home ground and handed them the jerseys as a “surprise activity” focused for the fans,.
The shade of the jersey remains a combination of red and blue. “While the red symbolises the team’s on-field courage, the blue stands for balance and composure. The tiger, an intrinsic part of the DC logo, is bigger and bolder, as the team gears up to roar again!” according to the Delhi Capitals.
The franchise took to its official Twitter account to disclose the jersey.
“Presenting the new threads we’ll flaunt in #IPL2022,” cited the DC, as they shared the jersey.
Commenting on the growth, the franchise’s temporary CEO Vinod Bisht stated, “It’s a new cycle of the IPL, and we can’t wait to see our players in this brand new jersey. Supporting this team in its quest for glory is our fan army, so it’s only fitting for us to make them a part of our journey in every step.”
Delhi Capitals will commence their season on the March 27th facing Mumbai Indians at the Brabourne Stadium.
