India vs South Africa 3rd T20: IND keep series alive

Indian bowlers assisted the hosts write a stunning rebound victory as the Men in Blue keep the series flourishing.

The bowlers kept India on top from the start of the second innings with Harshal Patel fetching 4 wickets and Yuzvendra Chahal grabbing 3 for himself.

The two assisted India win by a definite margin of 48 runs and keep the five-match series at 1-2.

Before, Indian openers Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave the hosts a flawless start in the decisive game.

They helped India record their best powerplay score of 57/0 in the series ahead of putting a 97-run stand in 10 overs with Gaikwad scoring his maiden half-century.

Ishan then carried the flow after Gaikwad’s removal to score his second fifty in the series.

However, South Africa soon controlled India with quick wickets and in the end restrained India to 179 for 5.
