The Indian women accomplished a memorable win by defeating rivals Bangladesh 1-0 in their SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship in Jamshedpur on Saturday.

The victory took India to the top of the three-team table with 6 points from two victories in as many games.
Bangladesh remain second with 3 points having imposed the second trounce on Nepal, following India crushed them 7-0 in the tourney opener. Nepal are third having lost both their games.
It was reprisal for India who had been defeated by Bangladesh in the final of the last version. India will next face Nepal in the second leg on Monday.
