The ICC has announced a revised schedule for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. The tournament will take place from 30 September to 2 November 2025.
Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was earlier chosen as a venue. But due to unavailability, it has now been replaced by Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium.
The DY Patil Stadium will host five matches, including three league matches, a semifinal, and possibly the final.
Other venues remain the same. These are:
- ACA Stadium, Guwahati
- Holkar Stadium, Indore
- ACA-VDCA Stadium, Visakhapatnam
- R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (Sri Lanka)
The final will be played on November 2 in either Colombo or Navi Mumbai. The two semifinals are scheduled for October 29 (Guwahati/Colombo) and October 30 (Navi Mumbai).
ICC Chairman Jay Shah said Navi Mumbai is now a home for women’s cricket. He praised the support fans have shown during international matches and the Women’s Premier League. He added that this World Cup could become a defining milestone for the women’s game.
