Tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 are officially on sale from December 11. This marks the start of fan preparations for one of cricket’s biggest global events. The ICC has kept prices very low to make the tournament open to everyone. In India, the ticket price starts at INR 100. In Sri Lanka, it begins at LKR 1000. More than 2 million tickets have been released in Phase 1 for group-stage and Super Eight matches.
The tournament will run from February 7 to March 8, 2026. Matches will be played across eight venues in India and Sri Lanka. The opening game will be played between Pakistan and the Netherlands in Colombo. Other early matches will take place in Kolkata and Mumbai. The tickets were launched by India captain Suryakumar Yadav and South Africa’s Aiden Markram during their second T20I match. Fans can now plan their match days in advance.

Ticket prices vary from stadium to stadium. In India, prices start at INR 100 in Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Delhi begins at INR 150. Mumbai starts at INR 250. Chennai begins at INR 300. In Sri Lanka, the starting price at all venues is LKR 1000. High-demand matches like India vs Pakistan also have low starting prices as part of the ICC’s effort to improve attendance. On BookMyShow, India vs Netherlands tickets in Ahmedabad currently start at INR 500 and go up to INR 2000.
Fans can buy tickets only from official partners. BookMyShow is the main ticketing platform. Tickets are also available on the ICC’s official portal, tickets.cricketworldcup.com. No other platforms are allowed for early sales.
Booking online is simple. Fans can log in to BookMyShow, pick a match, choose seats, and pay instantly. A virtual queue may appear for big games. Offline tickets may open closer to the event at stadium counters.
The 2026 edition will feature 20 teams and 55 matches. The final will be played on March 8. India are the defending champions.
