The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is moving into a very important phase. The Super-8 stage schedule has been officially announced. The matches will be played from February 21 to March 1, 2026.
This edition features 20 teams. After the first round, eight teams have qualified for the Super-8 stage. The qualified teams are India, South Africa, West Indies, Zimbabwe, England, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The teams are divided into two groups.
Group A has India, South Africa, West Indies and Zimbabwe.
Group B includes England, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Super-8 stage schedule and venues
The Super-8 matches will be played in India and Sri Lanka. Big venues like Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata will host matches. Colombo and Kandy will also host important games.
The opening Super-8 match will be New Zealand vs Pakistan on February 21 in Colombo at 7:00 PM IST.
On February 22, Sri Lanka will face England in Kandy at 3:00 PM IST. Later that evening, India will play South Africa in Ahmedabad at 7:00 PM IST.
Zimbabwe will meet West Indies in Mumbai on February 23. England vs Pakistan will take place on February 24 in Kandy. Sri Lanka vs New Zealand will be played on February 25 in Colombo.
India’s second Super-8 match is against Zimbabwe on February 26 in Chennai. South Africa will face West Indies earlier that day in Ahmedabad.
England vs New Zealand is scheduled for February 27 in Colombo. Sri Lanka vs Pakistan will be played on February 28 in Kandy.
The final day of the Super-8 stage is March 1. Zimbabwe will play South Africa in Delhi at 3:00 PM IST. India will then face West Indies in Kolkata at 7:00 PM IST.

Each team will play three matches in this round. The top teams will qualify for the knockout stage. Fans are expecting intense contests as all major cricket nations are still in the tournament.
