Hardik Pandya rules himself out of World Test Championship Final

Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder of the Indian cricket team, has not been a part of the Indian Test team for a long time. Hardik Pandya is a part of the ODI and T20 squads since he is fully fit and is not playing Test cricket.

Now Hardik Pandya kept his words in front of everyone about the future of his Test cricket during the press conference before the first match of the three-match ODI series against Australia. Hardik Pandya will captain the Indian team in the first ODI against the Kangaroo team.

Hardik Pandya said that he will not take part in the final of the World Test Championship as he feels that he has not earned his place in the Test team. He said no, I am a morally very strong person. I haven’t even done 10 per cent to get there. I am not even one per cent a part of it (Test team). It would not be morally right for me to come into the Test team and replace someone. If I play Test cricket, I will work hard and earn my place. For this reason I will not be available for the World Test Championship or future Test series until I feel I have earned my place.

Hardik Pandya has always said that he will take part in Test cricket only when he finds his rhythm. In January, when he was asked about Test cricket, he had said that when will I be seen in white clothes. First let me stay completely in blue and then I will talk about the test.

Indian team had able to draw their fourth match against Australia and Sri Lanka was defeated by New Zealand, due to which Team India had reached the World Test Championship. Now the final match of the World Test Championship will be played between India and Australia from June 7 to June 11 at The Oval in London.
