In the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals captain David Warner was dismissed without opening an account in 2 balls. According to Harbhajan Singh, if the captain of the team had played more balls, Delhi Capitals would have lost by a big margin.
In his official YouTube channel, Harbhajan Singh said, “David Warner was dismissed early in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Perhaps this is the reason why Delhi came closer in this match. If he had played 50 balls, it would have meant that David had wasted 50 balls and Delhi Capitals would have lost the match by 50 runs.”
Harbhajan further said, “When he came for the presentation after the match was over, he called the rest of the players wrong. But the question arises what did you do? You didn’t even think of playing aggressive cricket. You have scored more than 300 runs but look at your strike rate. This 300 runs is of no use to Delhi Capitals.”
