Delhi Capitals have officially launched their new jersey for IPL 2026 on March 19. The design is inspired by the fierce tiger spirit. It reflects the strong and fearless identity of both the team and the city of Delhi. The jersey features the classic blue and red colors with a bold new look.
The launch campaign was special. It featured both men’s and women’s team captains, Axar Patel and Jemimah Rodrigues. This is the first time both teams have come together for a jersey launch. It shows unity and a shared vision within the franchise.
DC Aim for Strong Start in New Season
“This jersey celebrates our city, identity and the fearless mindset we bring to the field. In a first for an IPL jersey launch campaign, we are also proud to feature our Women’s team captain, Jemimah Rodrigues, as it reflects our commitment to building a unified Delhi Capitals culture across teams. Our Tigers in blue and red are ready, and we are looking forward to an exciting season ahead,” Sunil Gupta, CEO, Delhi Capitals, said on the unveiling of the new jersey.
Delhi Capitals will begin their IPL 2026 journey on April 1. They will face Lucknow Super Giants in their opening match. The game will take place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. It will be played in the evening.
The team will play their first home match on April 4. They will take on Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
DC have built a strong squad for the season. Key players include KL Rahul, Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav, and David Miller. The team will aim to win their first IPL title this year.
