In an electrifying showdown at the GRM Cricket Ground in New Delhi, DAV Rohini Academy emerged triumphant in the finals of the inaugural Under-12 Summer Cup. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, DAV Rohini showcased a stellar performance that ultimately led them to clinch the title.
The standout player of the match was the versatile Abhimanyu Nautiyal, whose exceptional all-round performance earned him the coveted Man of the Match title. Nautiyal’s impressive display included a formidable 89 runs with the bat and two crucial wickets with the ball. Adding to the team’s success was Shivansh Kanodia’s stellar bowling, claiming three wickets for 21 runs.
DAV Rohini Academy posted a commanding total of 202/3 in their allotted 30 overs, with notable contributions from Abhinav Mishra, who scored 36 runs. In response, Airliner Bharti College put up a valiant effort, led by Aayusmaan Adhikari, who scored 64 runs and also took two wickets. However, their total of 180/10 fell short by 22 runs, handing DAV Rohini Academy the victory.
Airliner Bharti College’s Anushka Souda also showcased an impressive performance, scoring 46 runs. However, it was not enough to secure victory for their team.
In recognition of his outstanding performance, Aayusmaan Adhikari was awarded the Fighter of the Match accolade.
