Allahabad High Court Grants Relief to RCB Pacer Yash Dayal in Exploitation Case

Indian cricketer Yash Dayal has received interim relief from the Allahabad High Court. The court stayed his arrest in a case of sexual exploitation. A woman had filed a case against him in Ghaziabad. Dayal had approached the court to challenge the FIR.

The hearing was led by Justice Siddhartha Varma and Justice Anil Kumar. The judges made strong comments on the woman’s claims. “You can be fooled for a day or two… but five years? One can’t be fooled for five years,” they said.

FIR Accuses Dayal of Deception

The FIR was registered on July 6 at Indirapuram Police Station. It came after the woman filed a complaint through the Chief Minister’s online portal on June 21. She said she was in a five-year relationship with Dayal. She accused him of making false promises of marriage.

She claimed that Dayal introduced her to his family as his future wife. This made her trust him even more. During this time, she said she was emotionally, physically, and mentally abused. She also said she was beaten and harassed when she confronted him. According to her, the emotional stress led her to depression. She even tried to end her life several times.
